YWAM Bacolod, Negros
Bacolod is situated on the northwestern coast of Negros Island in the Negros Island Region of the Philippines. It is a highly urbanized city and serves as the capital of Negros Occidental (geographically), though it is administratively independent. Bounded by the Guimaras Strait to the west, it lies opposite Guimaras Island and is known as the "Sugar Capital of the Philippines" due to its central role in the country's sugar industry.
Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Bacolod is a pioneering YWAM base located on the outskirts of the city (address: 1625 Sitio Ramona, Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City). It operates with a small team (around 4 staff on average) and emphasizes discipleship, evangelism, and community service in line with YWAM’s global mission “to know God and to make Him known.” The base has capacity for farming and is in a growth phase.
